The camp offered two days worth of exercise and coaching education for the participants from Leipzig, Dresden, Mainz and other newly established lacrosse clubs in Germany. The camp which was organized in cooperation with the European Lacrosse Federation (ELF) and included both men’s and women’s lacrosse. In total there were 32 participants (20 women and 12 men) who were being coached by the experienced staff of Sydne Wick and Kyle Witt, who had both travelled over from the UK. The camp proved to exceed expectations – all players left the camp with markedly improved skills. More importantly, the local coaches exploited the opportunity to learn more about the planning of practices, player development and several important aspects of communication with beginners.
