European Lacrosse mourns the loss of Ken Galluccio

25.02.2009

It was with great sadness that the European lacrosse community learned of the passing away of Ken Galluccio. The European Lacrosse Federation owes an immense debt of gratitude to Ken for all that he did for many years in developing lacrosse in Europe and further afield. There can be little doubt that Ken's contribution was in many ways immeasurable as he enthused so many at all levels throughout Europe in so many different ways. His drive and determination brought to fruition the European Champions Cup, which was so prophetically held for the first and last time for Ken at his beloved Hamburg Warriors.

Ken's drive and passion for the game and the enthusiasm he spread whereever he went will continue to thrive as he has influenced and inspired people throughout the continent to play and grow the game of lacrosse.
The European lacrosse community has lost a incredible lacrosse enthusiast, a fantastic person and to many many people a great and dear friend - our sincere condolences to Ken's relatives and friends.
