Equipment on its way to Greece and Hungary

27.11.2008

The ELF continues to support the growth of lacrosse throughout Europe and have recently decided to send equipment to support lacrosse start-up initiatives in several places - including Hungary and Greece.

Hungary: The first team in Hungary was founded in Budapest earlier this year and the founders are now looking to expand the club as well as to support lacrosse initiatives elswhere in the country. Most recently the team from Budapest played their first game - a game against the Bratislava Bats from neighbouring Slovakia.

Greece: Greece is a new lacrosse playing nation but the sport has already been introduced in various places in Athens. The initiative is well supported by several schools and a few weeks ago the "Athens Lacrosse Club" - the first club in the country - was founded.

Throughout Europe the sport of lacrosse continues to see a positive growth trend and the ELF is proud to support many of the great initiatives taken on by individuals and groups.
