ELF appoints Michael Hoeck as Honorary Secretary

23.10.2007

Hi Lax Friends,

I am happy to announce to you that the ELF has appointed Michael Hoeck as the new Honorary Secretary. A lot of you already know Michael as he has been one of the key drivers of the sport in Europe for many years. For those of you who do not know Michael yet, some of his accomplishments include but are not limited to: founding president of Aachen Lacrosse (1998); co-founder of Maastricht Lacrosse (2000); co-founder of Euro-lax (2002); founder and first editor of European Lacrosse Magazine (2005); initiator of European Lacrosse Convention (2006); national team player at the European Lacrosse Champioships 2001 as well as 2004.

Michael can be contacted at michael@europeanlacrosse.org - besides being the key point of contact for the ELF, Michael will also ensure that all member nations’ contact details are kept up to date. Should you have any changes to these, please drop Michael a note.

The ELF Board is now complete (again) and in the forthcoming months the focus will be on additional development work (e.g. in Poland) as well as preparations for next year’s big event, the European Championships 2008 in Finland.

Best Regards and Welcome to Michael,

Kristian Gotsch
VP – Men’s Lacrosse
