While most of the continent is focusing on talking about the rather strange weather we are having these days, a group of guys in Moscow have been working on a new lacrosse project.

Only a few weeks ago, emails starting flying back and forth between a group of people in Moscow and last Saturday six of them decided to get together for what became the first lacrosse practice in the Russian capital.

By the time the attached picture was taken a few of the players had already left, but the plan is to continue the practices regularly and recruit more players.

This is another great sign of lacrosse continuing its growth - not only in the established lacrosse nations but also into new countries.

Vlad, Zhenya, David and Marcus - good luck with the forthcoming practices. Now the other lacrosse playing nations in Europe know that you are for real.
